Amsterdam Derby Dames

It’s not too late to trade in your gifts for some new roller skates, as the Amsterdam Derby Dames are recruiting new skaters!

On 15 January 2012 we’ll be holding a Fresh Meat practice where you can find out what it’s like being on wheels and skate with the Amsterdam Derby Dames.

The Fresh Meat Day will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm at Sportpark Poelenburg in Zaandam. Our new Fresh Meat program will run from 15 January to 12 April 2012.

There will be a lot of information about roller derby and its history, the structure of our league and practices, and of course, we want to see you on skates!

Sign up quickly because many new girls (and maybe boys who want to be referees) will be joining us that day and we have a maximum we can accommodate. Be sure to SIGN UP so we know you’re coming.

After we receive your sign-up we’ll send you a confirmation e-mail with all the info you’ll need on what we’ve planned for you, things you need to bring, gear rental details just for that day, and much more!

Due to the size of the venue and comfort level of those on skates for the first time in ages, we ask you not to bring any spectators.
